Well, what a fabulous week we had at Brigydon. Took our 2 whippets, both so relaxed, as if they were home.
Fantastic views of the beach and sea from the cottage. Watched the sun set.
Cottage was perfect. We will definitely return one day.
The cottage is perfectly positioned for fabulous sea views and close proximity to the Ship inn.
The private parking area adjacent to the property is very convenient for unloading cases etc and able to accommodate 2 large cars.
The owners love the cottage and it shows; it is one of the cleanest we have visited with the most comprehensive guidance on how things work with helpful notes here and there.
Can’t fault it.
Our second time staying at Brigydon. It's such a wonderful place to stay. Can't wait to return again.
“From the moment we booked Sally the owner was contactable and always replied very promptly.
The house was immaculately clean and had everything we needed!
Tresaith is a gorgeous little place with just a pub and a beautiful beach. At Aberporth a mile away there is a shop and a chemist and at the crossroads on the main to Cardigan there is a garage with a Nisa which sold pretty much everything including a bakery and a butchery!
The picture windows in the property are fantastic. We sat every night with our Binoculars looking for Dolphins and half way through our holiday we were blessed with seeing 4/5 of them right in the bay in front of us!
Every time I went in the bedroom to get something I’d find myself sitting on the bed staring out to sea! Such a time waster but best time waster ever!
It’s great having parking as that’s very scarce in the village!
Various parts to sit out and a small grass area for our fur babies to do their business!! Fully enclosed garden which was great for them.
You felt very safe Covid wise as very strict cleaning was done and there was anti bac at front door and in kitchen along with liquid soaps in kitchen and both bathrooms!
I took washing up liquid etc but no need, they supply that, tea towels a couple of dishwasher tablets and washing up cloth!
We had a lovely little welcome pack which I won’t spoil you with what’s in it!
I can’t recommend this place enough and we are already working out when we can return.
Book it….. you won’t be disappointed”
“One of the nicest houses we have stayed in. Equipped with all the essentials you’ll need and with the most amazing views out to sea! Short walk to beach and pub - enjoyed by humans and dog’s alike! Communication with the owner was fantastic. We can’t wait to return!”
We wanted a nice seaside property in a quiet location with a pub nearby and got all of it.
Amazing views and nicely decorated cottage that felt homely and relaxing.
Absolutely wonderfull spotlessly clean cottage. Very comfortable and cosy.
My wife and myself and little dog stayed recently in December and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Welcome pack of goodies supplied and everything you could ever need is supplied.
We cant wait to return and will be enquiring very soon for our next retreat.
This is truly a hidden gem. Well worth visiting. Can honestly say its a real treat.
Sally is an excellent host and communication was great.
Everything about our stay was great, highly recommended host, location and property.
Beautiful cottage, amazing location, fabulous views and Sally is an amazing host. We spent 5 night in October at the cottage with our dog Lola. We had the best time, went on some lovely walks and went to a different beach everyday. The Ship inn is a small walk from the cottage and was dog friendly and very welcoming.
I wouldn’t hesitate returning or recommending it to anyone.
Beautiful place to stay, great location, highly recommended, you won’t be disappointed.
We had a great week at Brigydon. Beautiful sunsets and we were lucky enough to spot Dolphins twice from the living room. The kids loved being so close to the beach and made nipping back for lunch very easy.
Brig-y-Don is the perfect property in the perfect location. The views from the windows are beautiful and we were lucky enough to see Dolphins swimming by one evening. The bed is very comfortable and the bedroom quiet, apart from the sound of waves :))
Sally, the owner, has thought of everything. The house is spotless and Covid safe. The Coastal Path, beach and pub are all one minute walk from the house. We will definitely be back, in fact, we didn't want to leave.
This was a great find! The spacious cottage is full of character and well equipped. It has amazing sea views and is a minutes walk to a lovely beach. Thoroughly recommend in every way.
We had a great week in Tresaith and cottage was everything and more than advertised. Thanks Sally we hope to be back
This cottage is absolutely stunning. It is well equipped, nicely decorated and beautifully located. The parking space turned out to be essential, we had very good weather and there were quite a few cars parking around the streets (on double yellows!). The kitchen is well equipped so you can cook in with ease. Its is quite easy to find and there is a shop in the next village. There is a little food van on the beach some days (weather/busy level dependant) and this does really good food. Pub just round the corner, ok for drinks with nice outdoor tables and views, less good for food. We would definitely recommend staying here and if we come to the area again would not hesitate to do so. You could never get bored with the views from your bedroom and front room!
My husband, daughter, our two dogs and I had a wonderful weekend break at Brigydon, Tresaith.
This cottage is a real gem and literally a few strides away from the beautiful beach of Tresaith. The views are absolutely spectacular and the beach itself is very clean and unspoilt. If you want to spot seals or dolphins this is definitely the place for you.
The owner kept in touch with us from the time we booked up until our arrival home and did everything to make our stay an enjoyable one.
The cottage itself is stunning, and the attention to detail is amazing. The property is decorated to a high standard throughout and every room is beach themed.
The cottage was spotlessly clean and the owner has gone above and beyond making the property as safe as possible to comply with recent Covid-19 guidelines.
We were greated with a lovely basket of treats including tea, coffee, sweets, Welsh cakes and plenty of goodies for our dogs! Our fridge was also stocked with fresh milk and Cenarth cheese.
Every little last detail had been thought of carefully.
This is definitely a dog friendly property too.
We'll be returning soon!
Brigydon was absolutely beautiful! We spent a gloriously relaxing weekend in the cottage. The views of the sea were fantastic from the picture windows and the log burner was perfect for a cold evening! We loved the little touches throughout the house. I'd thoroughly recommend this lovely cottage to anyone and we'll be back! :)
Fell in love with this cottage beautifully furnished and so warm and cosy!!! Bed was really comfy and those windows... Views!!!
A very special cottage situated in a beautiful location.
Thank you Sally for sharing your gem xxx
This is a beautiful cottage in a supreme location in one of Wales' most picturesque small coastal villages. Two magnificent picture windows - one in the main sitting room, the other in the master bedroom - look out over interrupted views of the bay. The bedroom arrangement - with Jack&Jill bathroom between one of the main bedrooms and the 'children's room' is ideal, and not in any way an awkward arrangement as there is a further bathroom next to the master bedroom. It's an ideal set-up for two families with two children each. The local pub is idyllic, and when we say it's only a stone's throw from the cottage, well, it's not even that far! The fishing from the beach and rocks can be pretty good too. All in all, a highly recommended cottage and a perfect location for a seaside break at any time of year.
We had an amazing time staying at Brigydon. The photographs on the website don't do it justice. The views from the huge picture windows are breathtaking, in particular the one upstairs in the main bedroom. Sleep was a distraction, I couldn't wait for the sun to come up. One of the nicest places I've ever stayed in, I can't remember the last time I was so relaxed. We love to try new places so I can't say whether we'll ever go back again, but I'd be delighted if we did decide to go to Brigydon again. We are already highly recommending Brigydon to family, work colleagues and friends.
We had a lovely stay at Brigydon Sally the owner was so helpful. She provided essential supplies for us that were so thoughtful even down to dog bowls and biscuits. The house was lovely with fantastic views out to sea and over the beach. Our dog loved it so much he didn’t want to leave. The only downside was the weather but we were able to make the best of it. The cottage was so cosy to come home to after a wet walk.
Lovely and clean and welcoming. Very thoughtful welcome gift and provision of the essential tea coffee and milk on arrival.
Provision of towels also a great help.
Obvious the owner had gone to great lengths to make sure our stay was a good one.
Tastefully decorated cottage within a stones throw of a beautiful beach and nice pub serving great food. Great coastal walk over to Aberporth. We really enjoyed our 2 week stay. We could never tire of the view from the lounge window and were lucky enough to see dolphins several times.
This is a lovely property, well equipped, very comfortable with exceptional views and is really close to the beach. The window seats were fantastic. We really enjoyed the sound of the waves at night in the bedroom and saw dolphins from the window twice in the bay. We were a family group of 5 adults and a dog and there was plenty of room. It would be equally comfortable for 4 adults and 4 children if they are happy sharing a room. The beds were really comfortable with a nice choice of pillows. The floors are all non carpeted which is great for me who has allergies to some dogs but need to bring our own. We were worried that the parking would be tight but we fitted 2 estate cars easily and this is a big bonus as parking is tight in Tresaith. There were lots of thoughtful touches which we really appreciated and Sally was great at communicating. We felt very welcome. We know the area well but if you don’t there is lots to explore.
What a wonderful cottage with outstanding views of the beach and sea. A perfect retreat for a truly relaxing break. Probably the best I've stayed in.
As a family and dogs we were able to celebrate my birthday all together for the long weekend. The house was fantastic with the lovely sea views and plenty of space. Sally had thought of just about everything to make our stay so relaxing. We will definitely be looking to book again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Brigydon is in a superb location in Tresaith within walking distance of the beach and coastal path. Sally made sure everything went really well. The house was immaculate, clean and had everything we needed. We’d recommend Brigydon without hesitation and hope to get back in future. Thanks.
Comfortable, thoughtfully equipt property. Very, very clean, most comfortable of beds. Lovely location with picturesque views out over the sea. Wonderful and helpful hosts. Perfect getaway from it all left us totally relaxed and re-charged.
Absolutely beautiful cottage and stunning views of a lovely area. Excellent communication and very thoughtful host, which enabled us to navigate the area and fully enjoy our holiday with 3 children.
As a family we are very fond of this beautiful part of Wales. This is our first stay in Tresaith. This cottage is really lovely and the view superb. You have really thought of everything we could need to make our stay so enjoyable and comfortable. We would love to come back!
We've had a wonderful time. Enjoyed the pub and loved the 'Plwmp Tart'! Amazing views.
We chose this cottage because of the location and sea views. The location is hard to beat and the views from the cottage are sensational. Nothing has been left to chance. The cottage has been lovingly designed and furnished for the comfort of its guests. It is light and spacious and spotlessly clean, but wonderfully cosy in the evenings, especially with the wood burning stove. The delightful patio captures the morning and evening sun and has, of course, views of the sea. We will be coming back because the cottage and location gives us everything we want for a special holiday.
Well equipped cottage with spectacular views of the sea. We do intend to visit again. Our stay was lovely and peaceful.
Fabulous cottage with the kind of views you want to look at forever....Tresaith is a gorgeous place with stunning coastal walks, a great pub and of course that view!. Watching the sun set from the picture windows is a true delight. We liked Brigydon so much that we intend to come back...for longer next time. Enjoy! We loved it.
